The first week of each semester is "Student Orientation Week" and further details of this and the activities available will be released to students after confirmed course enrolment.
Orientation programs include information on EIT policies and expectations, the operation of the learning infrastructure, welcomes the students to the course and responds to any questions the students might have.
EIT also hold regular open days at our Perth campus for prospective students to visit the campus and meet our student support staff, lecturers and student ambassadors, and ask any questions you may have. Details of these open days will be published on our website and our social media platforms. You can join our Facebook pages to keep up-to-date with all events happening at EIT.

Dr Steve Mackay will be presenting an interactive seminar on ‘engineering as a noble profession’. He will be covering hot trends in engineering, job prospects and troubleshooting tips across the engineering disciplines. Then Steve will call on you and your fellow attendees to help workshop solutions to practical engineering problems.
As Queen Elizabeth ll said of engineering, "at its heart engineering is about using science to find creative practical solutions”. This seminar, with an embedded workshop on troubleshooting, will be run at our Johannesburg office on Steve’s forthcoming trip to South Africa. It will be a highly interactive and informative session where everyone will actively contribute.
